Since 2000Primary Care That Makes You Primary
MDVIP was born from an idea that started in the minds of forward-thinking primary care doctors who felt the healthcare system was losing its way. They knew there was a better way to practice medicine and provide the level of care and attention their patients deserved — and that idea reignited the passion for medicine in doctor after doctor, year after year.
Today, MDVIP is the leader in personalized healthcare, with a nationwide network of physicians — including Dr. Ashley, right here in Post Falls.
We Believe in Primary Care That Improves Health and Lives
- Healthcare should always put the patient first
- Medical care is not one-size-fits-all
- Doctors should have time to get to know patients beyond their symptoms
- Appointments should not come with time limits
Tools That Support Your Doctor, Not Replace Them
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by giving your physician innovative tools and technology that support their practice and remove barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor decides whether and how to use them.
Each year, your physician takes you through the MDVIP Wellness Program — a comprehensive health assessment covered by your annual membership fee, including advanced medical tests and health screenings typically not covered by commercial insurance or Medicare. You and your doctor use those results to build a personalized wellness plan around your goals.
More Time. More Access. More You.
Doctors in the MDVIP model typically see far fewer patients than a traditional primary care practice. That gives them more time to build deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes — plus conveniences most primary care doctors can't offer, like same- and next-day appointments and after-hours availability for urgent matters. That extra time also means more focus on prevention, starting with the MDVIP Wellness Program included in your annual membership.
Can I Use My Insurance?
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
